What to Expect
- Postural Assessment: Prior to starting classes we make a thorough postural assessment to identify areas of tension, imbalance, and restricted mobility. This allows our instructors to tailor the exercises to address your specific needs and goals, helping you to counteract the effects of sedentary habits.
- Mobility Exercises: Through a combination of dynamic and static stretches, as well as mobility drills, you’ll work to increase your range of motion, improve joint function, and alleviate stiffness exacerbated by prolonged sitting. Our exercises target key areas such as the spine, hips, shoulders, and ankles to promote better overall mobility and counteract the effects of prolonged sitting.
- Strength Training: Strengthening exercises are incorporated to support proper posture and enhance stability, addressing the muscular imbalances often caused by prolonged sitting. What to Wear
For a comfortable and effective Posture & Mobility Class experience, wear clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Here are some recommendations:
- Comfortable Athletic Attire: Wear breathable, moisture-wicking clothing that allows you to move freely without restriction.
- Footwear: We don’t need any shoes, it’s better to practice barefoot.
- Layers: Consider wearing layers that can be easily removed or added as needed to maintain a comfortable body temperature throughout the class.
What to Bring
Come prepared for your Posture & Mobility Class with the following items:
- Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is important, so bring a water bottle to replenish fluids during the class.
- Towel: A small towel may be useful for wiping away sweat during the workout.
